3/06. Procurement of IC4 trains

The report concerns the procurement of IC4 trains and contains an examination and evaluation of whether DSB’s decision to choose AnsaldoBreda as supplier was taken on a thoroughly prepared basis. The report also contains an examination and evaluation of whether DSB took prompt and targeted project management action in order to influence AnsaldoBreda to deliver the IC4 trains on time. The report also includes an examination of whether the Ministry of Transport and Energy’s supervision of DSB’s procurement of the IC4 trains has been satisfactory. In addition, NAOD has evaluated whether the Minister of Transport and Energy has kept the Folketing duly and sufficiently informed of the procurement of IC4 trains.
