INTOSAI

INTOSAI is the acronym for the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions and is a global association of 189 Supreme Audit Institutions. The objective of INTOSAI is to provide a platform for knowledge sharing and exchange of experience among the world's Supreme Audit Institutions.

Rigsrevisionen is the chairman of INTOSAI's Professional Standards Committee (PSC) which is developing global public sector auditing standards, principles and guidelines. In its capacity as chairman of the PSC, Rigsrevisionen is also hosting and running the PSC secretariat and participates in INTOSAI's annual board-meeting.

The various working groups and committees established under INTOSAI meet as and when required, whereas the INTOSAI Congress is a triennial event.

The next INTOSAI Congress is scheduled for 2013 in China.
