The Public Accounts Committee
The Public Accounts Committee consists of 6 members that are appointed by Parliament for a four-year period. The authority of the Public Accounts Committee is laid down in the Constitution. Rigsrevisionen reports to the Public Accounts Committee, which bases its assessment on the work of Rigsrevisionen.
The Public Accounts Committee is the only body that may request Rigsrevisionen to examine an area, and the Committee holds approximately 10 meetings annually.
