EU Contact Committee

The EU Contact Committee is where the EU Member States' Supreme Audit Institutions and the European Court of Auditors meet to discuss issues of common interest and support each other in the efforts to strengthen external auditing and accountability in the EU. The auditor generals meet once a year. The EU liaison officers meet once or twice a year and various working groups on specific audit topics have meetings as required.

At www.contactcommittee.eu you will find an outline of all the working groups established under the EU Contact Committee: "Status Outline of EU SAI Contact Committee". The outline provides data on the objective/mandate of the working group, membership, progress made in the course of the year and planned meetings. The website also presents the most recent resolutions adopted by the committee, including mandates for the future cooperation in the EU Contact Committee.

The next meeting in the EU Contact Committee is scheduled for 13 - 14 October 2011 in Luxembourg.

Rigsrevisionen audits the revenue received from/and contributions made to the EU by Denmark, and issues an annual report on the audit of EU funds along with an audit opinion on the audit of EU funds in Denmark. Rigsrevisionen also coordinates and participates in all audits of EU funds in Denmark performed by the European Court of Auditors.
