13/06 Administration of the national cultural heritage

The report concerns the administration of the physical cultural heritage kept in archives, libraries and museums under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture. Rigsrevisionen has mapped the specific problems currently identified in relation to the above-mentioned institutions' administration of the cultural heritage. Subsequently, the remedial action taken by the Danish National Cultural Heritage Agency and the Ministry of Culture has been assessed. The assessment of the administration of the cultural heritage is based on a review of the three following main tasks: Collection, registration and preservation.
